No they aren’t lol there are already multiple 1500hp c8’s and it only came out 4 years ago. Just wait until they unlock the ecu for the eray and the z06. Once people start building the engines it will be easy 2000whp+ for those 6.2L engines in the e ray and stingray

And the corvettes have more potential after you start modding them. I’ve never seen a bmw make over 2000whp+ built. I’ve never seen a bmw run 5’s quarter mile. Even stock for stock corvettes are superior over bmws on the track, drag, etc…

At these power levels it’s more advantageous to be able to put the power down with the X drive than the minimal drivetrain loss

@@chrisq593 not even close. On runs like these traction is off and these cars lose traction even in 3rd in bone stock form so X Drive makes a huge difference when they’re 700-750whp with more torque. Even on lower rolls it’s a huge advantage to have X Drive. The drivetrain loss is minimal for the traction advantage you get

How so? It’s still on a locked ecu. Running door to door with a mid 9second g80, while only having nitrous and no tune is impressive. That thing would be way faster if tuned properly for the nitrous. (Coming from a g80 owner)
